  • REVIEW: Her Private Life

In the universe of K-drama shows where Park Min-young falls in love with her boss, I recommend this show over What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim any day of the week. Give it a watch if you’re a fan of great chemistry, but beware of third act plot nonsense!

  • REVIEW: Happiness

If zombies aren’t your thing, then maybe perfectly matched leads, cute boys, and strong ladies can get you through the horror!

  • REVIEW: So I Married an Anti-Fan

“YAMA” engagement rings and toxic second male leads aside, this show is a stunner in my book. ~~I’M YOUR POP STAR~~

  • REVIEW: Imitation

I highly recommend Imitation for anyone who has been looking to fill the musical K-drama void in their life. It’s only 12 episodes(!) so turn up the music.

  • REVIEW: Nevertheless,

If the man doesn’t speak to his mom, but she buys him a Maserati for his birthday to compensate, RUN.

  • REVIEW: Record of Youth

Let me be clear: I didn’t have a problem with the acting. These actors just weren’t given much to work with.

Welcome to Daebak K-Rambles! I’ve been watching dramas since 2011 and blogging Asian drama reviews since 2017. In 2021, I finally combined my years of blogging and movie podcasting to create the Daebak K-Rambles Podcast, where myself and a host of drama friends and creators from around the world have fun reviewing K-dramas (and sometimes C-dramas).
