It’s that time of the year! Amazon Prime Day is July 16-17, and I snuck a peek to see what I could purchase myself and quickly got overwhelmed. I saw so many deals on products that I’ve bought before or currently use, as well as things I’ve always wanted to try! I used to podcast with wired Apple headphones. Yeah. It wasn’t until a podcast producer friend of Rico’s gifted us a couple of microphones that I finally got a proper mic, but even that first official microphone was extremely sensitive. I had to build a little sound box out of a Walmart collapsible storage bin (like the kind college kids use), lining it with some sound-proofing material from Amazon, just so it wouldn’t pick up my A/C turning on and off! Needless to say, when I splurged and bought this Blue Yeti USB microphone, it was a game changer.

I hadn’t been storing my Sony MDR7506 headphones in or on anything at all, just laying them on my desk when not in use. But I had been thinking of getting a little stand for them when all of a sudden, in the background of the J-drama First Love, I spotted it—the coolest, most aesthetic-looking wood headphone stand. I was immediately influenced and found the closest approximation on Amazon. When it arrived, I was thrilled with the quality and how it looks on my podcast station. I adore when form meets function, and this wooden headphone stand in walnut is perfection.

Sometime in 2022, after joining the fray on TikTok and consistently posting video content, I decided to invest in a ring light. I didn’t want anything crazy expensive, just something reliable. This 12-inch ring light stands on a 50-inch extendable tripod with a phone holder and includes a few adjustable light settings. Although I don’t break it out that often to film around the house anymore, it lives on my podcast desk where I use it every single time I record a podcast. I’m not sure how I was allowing folks to see me in my dimly lit podcasting corner without this magical ring light.

A couple years ago, I got it into my head that I wanted one of those cool colorful retro keyboards that look like typewriters. I ordered one. And I instantly hated it. It was incessantly loud and difficult to type on, and I’m super fast on the keyboard ever since I learned how to properly type in middle school. I returned it and shook off the trendy aesthetic to purchase this wonderful wireless keyboard with 7 colored backlights. It’s sleek, easy to type on, silent, compatible with Windows or Mac, PC or laptops, and the colored backlights keep things interesting.

I got a little budget to decorate my office at work when I switched jobs halfway through 2023, and I decided to spruce up the stark white IKEA desk with this large office desk mat in dark green. When I say large, I do mean large—35.4″x17″. I get compliments on it all the time. I highly recommend it! It comes in multiple sizes and various colors as well.
6. HOKAFENLE Computer Mouse Pad with Tropical Leaves Design | $7.11 $8.89
This was the very first thing I purchased for my new office after switching jobs. I find it soothing and tropical. I constantly shift around in my chair at work, and when I do, I move around my favorite mousepad, too. For the girl who can never keep a plant alive, this tropical leaves design mouse pad is just the ticket.
7. MOSITO Digital Wooden Alarm Clock with Wireless Charging | $22.78 $34.99
Do you enjoy having a clock around but not the ticking noise of a timepiece? Yeah, same. This digital clock sits next to me at work, and besides being totally cute, it lets me know the temperature of the room and will conveniently charge my phone wirelessly (because you know I’m always running out of juice).
8. COLLECT BEAUTY Bamboo Phone Stand Holder | $7.19 $8.99
I have a metal phone stand holder in my home office that I got for free. I’ve knocked over more times than I can count, and it makes an awful noise, plus, it’s just ugly. For my new office, I went bold and ditched metal altogether. Bamboo, babes. This bamboo phone stand holder is my constant companion. She holds my phone all day, and she looks good doing it, too.
Health and Skincare
1. BANILA Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm | $20.30 $29
I’ve used other cleansing balms (like Clinique’s Take the Day Off), but this is the one I keep coming back to.
2. PANOYXL Acne Foaming Wash | $8.06 $9.48
I use this occasionally as my double cleanse.
3. PAULA’S CHOICE 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant | $28 $35
This is quite a strong chemical exfoliant, but I swear by it. I use it every other morning after cleansing.
4. BELIF Aqua Bomb Moisturizer | $45.50 $76
Listen to me, I will buy this at any price other than the retail price. I’m buying this right now as we speak. It is luscious and cooling and moisturizing. I adore it.
5. IUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream | $11.99 $19.99
This was the first moisturizer I bought when I began my skincare journey. It’s still great.
6. COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Power Repairing Essence | $9.58 $25
I don’t use this as much anymore since I’ve rotated out to other products, but this snail mucin stuff is the real deal.

For daytime use, I prefer a tinted lip balm, and this is my favorite.

I used several lip masks, including a CosRX one, but this is by far the best. It’s super hydrating and stays on all night.
